Volcano
House - Volcano House is currently comprised of the Main
Building, the Deluxe Wing, the Ohia Wing, a minute’s walk from the main lobby,
and the Namakani Paio Cabins, 3 miles from the main building. The main building
of the present Volcano House was built in 1941, with the addition of the Deluxe
Wing built in 1962. There are 6 Crater View Deluxe, 14 crater-view rooms, 12
non-crater view rooms, 8 garden view rooms, 2 standard Ohia rooms and 10 cabins
available for visitors. From 1977 to 1986, Volcano House was managed by the
Sheraton Chain. |
